Description
An unusual Italian map of China, based on the work of Dutch cartographer Isaac Tirion. Tirion's own atlas was issued in Amsterdam in 1744. On the map Kamchatka almost reaches Japan.
Albrizzi was the first publisher to issue Tirion's maps: Tirion's used the money he received to publish his own atlas in 1744.
