Description

Finely engraved print, showing 18 compartments, containing the title, dedication to Baldwin Hamey, and 15 rival gods known to the Jews, including Adrammelech, Apis, Dagon, Moloch, Baal and Beelzebub. The final illustration is of the Ephod, a garment of the high priest, which allowed him to receive divine communication. From Thomas Fuller's 'A Pisgah-sight of Palestine and the confines thereof with the history of the Old and New Testament acted thereon'.
