Description
A highly decorative map of the Holy Land, illustrating the life of Abraham, embellished with stapwork cartouches and 22 circular vignette scenes from his life. In the Mediterranean is an inset map of northern Arabia. This is one of the few ancient maps produced by Ortelius himself.
