Description
A separate-issue plan of Tripoli, depicting the Knights Hospitaller under siege by the Ottomans in 1551, will the walled city surrounded by artillery positions on land and galleys filling the seas.
This is an example of the second state, with the title added but before the addition of Duchetti's publication line.
Condition:
Trimmed to plate top and bottom, remargined with old paper.References:
