Description

A scarce prospect of pre-fire London from Southwark, looking towards the old St Paul's and showing the riverside between Whitehall and the Tower of London. London Bridge is shown complete with buildings and traitor's heads; and the Globe and Swan theatres are shown but not named in the 10-point key under the view. Includes figures on horseback in the foreground, also the river Thames is populated with a great number of different types of vessels.
